PortAbility aims to position Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a key driver of economic transformation in Mediterranean port city regions, supporting a just transition to a climate-neutral, digital, and inclusive economy. The project focuses on four regions: Taranto (Italy), Andalusia (Spain – Seville and Málaga), Volos (Greece), and multiple ports in Cyprus. A German cluster (Hamburg area) contributes as a best-practice hub.
The initiative will develop training frameworks, upskilling/reskilling pathways, governance tools, and action plans to empower VET providers and workers to lead innovation and inclusion in port transition contexts.
