Action: ERASMUS-SPORT-2024-SCP

RECOVER aims to leverage sports as a therapeutic tool to aid the recovery of Victims of Trafficking (VoTs), focusing on their physical, mental, and social well-being. It highlights the benefits of sports in improving physical health, reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, fostering social connections, and empowering VoTs to regain control over their lives. The project plans to build the capacities of sports trainers and coaches to tailor activities to VoTs’ needs, provide resources like guides and toolkits, and encourage collaboration among professionals. Additionally, RECOVER seeks to raise public awareness and promote the inclusion of physical activity in comprehensive recovery programs for VoTs.
