HER CARE - Homecare Micro-courses Education and Recognition of Prior Learning for the Competences of Migrant Women in Elderly Care

Code: 101286801

Description

Action: AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-01-WOMEN
Description: HER CARE empowers migrant women caregivers by recognising and validating the skills and experience they have gained through informal caregiving, helping them translate these competencies into training, qualifications, and employment opportunities in the elderly care sector. The project combines flexible learning pathways with family-responsive support measures, such as language assistance and childcare-related solutions, to address barriers that often prevent women from fully participating in the labour market.
Through collaboration with training providers, employers, policymakers, and community organisations, HER CARE promotes inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches to skills development and workforce integration. By strengthening skills recognition, improving access to training, and supporting women’s social and economic inclusion, the project contributes to a more resilient care workforce and develops practices that can be adapted and replicated across Europe.
